WALK-IN CLINIC
We are open from 7:20 am – 8:30 am Mondays-Fridays to see established patients with urgent or emergent health concerns. Patients are seen on a first-come first-served basis, so to avoid longer wait times, please plan to arrive as early as possible. When you arrive at our office, please come up to the front desk and we will get you checked in.
During walk-in, we are only able to address acute medical problems, such as fevers, ear pain, rashes, injuries, or respiratory problems. If your child has a more complicated or chronic issue, please call the office to schedule an appointment so your doctor has time to adequately address these concerns. Unfortunately, we are unable to address complex problems such as ongoing abdominal pain, headaches, or behavioral concerns during walk-in hours.
Our walk-in clinic each morning is staffed by one doctor. If too many patients arrive on a given morning, we will give you a scheduled sick visit time later that same day.
SICK VISITS
If you are unable to come to our walk-in hours and would like to come in for a same-day sick appointment during the week, please call our office and one of our nurses will schedule you to see either your primary doctor if possible, or another of our pediatricians.

Because our schedules fill up quickly, we recommend that you call early in the day when possible. This ensures that we will be able to see you, and offers more flexibility with appointment times.
SATURDAY HOURS
On Saturday mornings, we are open for scheduled same-day appointments for sick or emergent patients. Walk-in clinic is not available on Saturdays; please call our office and a nurse will give you a scheduled appointment.

AFTER HOURS
We always have a physician on call, even when the office is closed. If you have an urgent or emergent health care question after hours, you can reach us at 616-776-7401. Our physician will help you, and will direct you to appropriate emergency care if necessary.
We prefer that you contact our office before using an urgent care facility or visiting the emergency room. Our doctors know your child and can see you just as urgently, so we can often save you the hassle of a visit to urgent care or the emergency room.

In life-threatening situations, please use DeVos Children's Hospital children's ER at Spectrum Downtown.
